Another case of an established artist returning in 2026 to release a great album, again showing bad times makes good music. The crackley sampling, over clean production sets a great mood throughout. Longevity remains to be seen, but first impressions are great. It’s a nice, calm, vibey project. I would love to call it more than that, because the production quality is amazing, but maybe my brain is too rotten from all the synthpop I’ve been listening to recently. Still, I can appreciate the ambient feel and putting it on in the background of whatever you’re doing at the moment is a great experience. I wouldn’t say I have a favourite track on here because it sounds coherent as a unit
