THOSE WHO ARE AGAINST US ALL THE TIME

2026 has been a year of artists that I have found to be good, but aren't quite there yet. Internet Girl is another one that falls into that boat. Pretty much every aspect of this is cool as an idea and works well at times in execution. These types of vocals need a very specific sound in order to do them justice and typically, someone that sounds like this would be in a band that is even more punk or rock leaning. And while this certainly has rock influence, the hip-hop and electronic elements sprinkled in give life to a sound that doesn't really do much for me typically. "I CHANGED (I'M UP)" is the best track on here with that everchanging electronic guitar wail. "GET OUT OF THE WAY" also features some interested guitar and electronic elements that play with the key nicely. The rest of the album feels like these ideas didn't get baked all the way. They're almost there but just a little doughy.
