God Save The Three

This was a bit of return to form for glaive in my eyes. I have struggled to get on the same page as many people reviewing his stuff and kinda had some FOMO because I really enjoyed "All Dogs Go To Heaven". While much different from his origins, "God Save The Three" has multiple redeeming features with little downside. The biggest slight to it's name is that some of the songs has some questionable lyrics. "Let's Link Up and Die" has a chorus that lyrically, leaves me pretty detached. "The Band", "Spinning Around", "The Front", "UNCA / Composure", and "The Troubles" were all very solid songs. There is a wide range of genre, from some classic hyperpop that first made me love glaive's music to some slower more heartfelt stuff like "Spinning Around". glaive and kurtains really do a good job capitalizing on every different genre type they try. Even the almost humorous interlude "Old Freight Train" is at least interesting to listen to although a completely unserious song.
