Was curious how this was going to pan out. ROLE MODEL was someone that I was really early on the bandwagon for and was rooting for his success. After his debut "Rx", which didn't receive much reception, and the reception that it did wasn't great. His previous switch up to country left me out to dry. I am not a traditional or modern country fan so I found it to be pretty much a let down even if the general public felt better about it. For his third outing, I think he has started to let go of some of the more atypical country instrumentals, although still found here or there, and instead leaned into some other interesting elements with melody, harmony, and other instruments and mixing. The first half of the album does feel like he is trying to get his footing while the second half finds him in a full sprint. "Joy", "Service Receipt", "Honeydew", "Stain", and "Harmony" really sat well with me making it a solid streak of tracks.
