Given the discourse, I expected much worse. No it's not their best album, and it's a bold choice after a 6 year break between albums. For all the talk about auto tune, there's only maybe 2 tracks where I thought it was detrimental, the opener in particular. Outside of that the usual Strokes charm is here, and I'm glad they aren't just contempt to push out another album for the sake of it.
