I wish I could give this 10 stars! Or more! This album is so magical, like the soundtrack of a fairy tale. And Indila's voice, certainly a wonder of nature! So awesome, perfect for the child of the world! You can listen to how her heritage plays a role in her music. This is so special, more than just a trend. I had to choose only three songs, but believe me, I would blast this album from start to end in 2014, when everyone was listening to whatever indie music was popular on Tumblr. So happy to see this album is becoming timeless.

There's something hypnotic in French pop and R&B music. I remember listening to this album time and again when I was studying French. It has everything: a festive spirit, love, wonder, nostalgia, sadness, broken hearts. I simply love it.

Qué maravilloso album, cada canción es de un género distinto, pero en todas se siente ese deseo de vivir. Vivir y demostrar emociones, alimentar el arte con emociones, crear y no ser sólo un espectador, ser humano, permitirse ser imperfecto, volver a intentar. Muy recomendable.

Cocktail es el mejor album de Belanova. No puedo ni siquiera comenzar a explicar el nivel de nostalgia, tranquilidad, alegría, soledad que me transmite este álbum. Al ser el primero, siento que es muy distinto a los subsecuentes, cuando Belanova ya se había posicionado en su lugar como la banda de electropop más icónica de México en la década de los 2000s y mediados de los 2010s. Su sonido es acid cabaret por excelencia, que te transporta a un sueño en el que estás en la orilla de la playa, echándote un cóctel, tal vez cuestionando tu existencia, rememorando un amor perdido, disfrutando la vida, sintiendo nostalgia por la adolescencia perdida, acariciando con la yema de los dedos la fragilidad del mundo. 10000/10 Y sólo elegí 3 canciones porque es lo que esta plataforma nos permite elegir, pero neta las 10 canciones son increíbles.

Fey es una ídolo del pop latino de los años 90s e inicios de los 2000s. Tiene varios hits que le dieron fama y se volvieron clásicos, pero curiosamente ninguno viene de este álbum. Por lo tanto, me extraña no haber escuchado de este álbum, joya experimental, llena de sonidos electropop, trip hop, industrial, experimental. De hecho se dice que en la etapa de producción, Fey tomó inspiración del Ray of Light de Madonna, incluso podría decirse que también de Björk y Annie Lennox que son artistas que ella alguna vez ha mencionado que admira. Tampoco es que tenga letras tan profundas, pero tiene un ritmo muy bueno, y es la prueba de que en México también hay propuestas muy interesantes que merecen ser consideradas.

Hands down one of the best rap albums from any South Korean artist to date. The production is superb, and don't get me started on the lyrics and themes. You can split this album in two, and you are going to hear two stories connected by one central topic: what we do with pain. First, we can listen to some raw lyrics, questioning today's world and hypocrisy in society, how someone can endure too much pain, how we can still expect future to be OK. In the second part, you hear someone choosing love, calling out people for not being sensible to each other's pain, telling others to never back down even if they have to take a rest, and coming to terms with the fact that life goes on, no matter what. The first time I listened to it, I cried. When I searched for the translations, you can bet I cried harder. I'm so lucky to experience the existence of this album. To listen to it and get comforted by it. Indeed, Future's gonna be OK.

UNA MARAVILLA 100000/10. Fase es un grupo talentosísimo, que vinieron a dejarnos esta joyaza de album, pero desafortunadamente así como llegaron se fueron. Recuerdo haber leído que el nombre hace alusión a que "si en la ciudad llueve, no hay de otra más que hacer música". Es un álbum que evoca muchas emociones llenas de nostalgia, paz, y un dulce sentimiento de introspección y abandono. Perfecto para escuchar durante un día lluvioso. Joyas del pop Latino de inicios del nuevo siglo. Electropop suave y emocional que ya no existe.

Sí fue uno de los albums que más esperaba este 2025, pero no es uno de los mejores trabajos de Amaral. Es una pena, porque son de mis actos musicales favoritos en español. Salvo una que otra canción que se salva, pero en general no es tan grandioso.

This is one of those albums that kept me sane during the pandemic. It's a calming, peaceful, and soothing album that transports you to the fjords. From the album art to the music production, you get the feeling of floating among the clouds. Although I can't relate entirely because I'm not Scandinavian, but I'm sure that it's a beautiful piece of representation of their folklore.

I'm not used to listening to music like this (experimental hip hop, progressive jazz, indie pop, rap, neo soul, etc.) mixed in just one album. That's exactly why this album works so well: it embodies perfectly the concept of being lost - being in the right place, but not being the right person. I also think that it's the perfect album to listen to when you want to vent all the rage and frustration trapped inside, while doing your best to keep your cool. Definitely an album you should not miss.
